Let me see with your eyes!
Let me hear with your ears!
Let me speak with your tongue;
not one word returning void.
Our goal is to instruct, encourage and articulate various points of the Word of God that will empower and or lead one or many to grow beyond their present circumstance.
Everything begins and ends with God. He created man in His image and likeness In the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
For your Glory
By: Tasha Cobbs
Who would you want to be glorified by man? or God? (creator of heaven and earth)
What will you do to have it?
Shekhinah. ... The Shekhina(h) (also spelled Shekina(h), Schechina(h), or Shechina(h)) (Biblical Hebrew: שכינה) is the English transliteration of a Hebrew word meaning "dwelling" or "settling" and denotes the dwelling or settling of the divine presence of God.
Spiritual Process (Pruning)
My definition of spiritual process in a believer's (follower of Christ) life: Spiritual Process (pruning) is a believer’s opportunity to be tested and tried in their resolve as it relates to their faith in God’s ability and promises. To allow God’s word to grow stronger and to change their life for the purpose of becoming a greater disciple and to fortify what God has started and will perfect in the life of the believer.
Definition of Process: a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end.
Definition of Pruning: trim (a tree, shrub, or bush) by cutting away dead or overgrown branches or stems, especially to increase fruitfulness and growth.
The process that happens in a believers life that’s called spiritual process (pruning). I use the word process because it takes time to develop into the things of God and to live the life God has called us to. Jesus was not exempt from his own process as he too had to go through and be pruned.“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.” (John 15: 1-2) Why would we not believe that we should be pruned if our savior needed to.
So if you desire to be all that God has called you to be and to walk in his anointing then I encourage you to do the following;“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” (MSG)
Spiritual process (Pruning) is not something that any of us need to fear but learn how to embrace and go through so that we can get to the next level in our walk. Take the time to find out what God would like for you to learn in the season. I’m sharing this while going through my own process (pruning). Over the past year I would say that it has not felt good where I'm standing. If I could be transparent for a moment I would say life does not look good where I am. Some would say “all hell have broken loose in my life." If you knew all that I have endured up to this point most would probably think God has abandoned me; believe me I did wonder at times where he was? Many days it has been quite difficult and very challenging to my faith and learning how to trust God in the midst of the storm when it looked like, felt like that I was not going to make it through. Even remaining in faith has been at times difficult. The reason I am sharing this with you is because you need to be encouraged and know that you can stand in the face of adversity and face the trials in your life and know you will come through. You are being equipped for what God is calling you to do.
The Word of God tells us, “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” (1 Peter 4: 12-13) This is an opportunity to grow in areas that we need to be stronger in and do not let what you see distract you from where your eyes should be which is on God. Never take your eyes off of Him and make sure that you stay before Him in prayer, praise and obedience. These things will make the difference in how you go through your process. You will learn when you are going through your trial many won’t know how to encourage you or even want to walk with you through it. Let's just be honest sometimes when things are going well in people's lives they don't always want to hear about the challenges in yours. There will be times when God is not saying anything or you are so focus on what you see that you can’t hear what He is saying in this time.
Sometimes you will need to encourage yourself in the Lord. You do this by continuing your praise unto God to edify yourself and to lift yourself out of the negative thoughts and feelings that you will encounter during this time. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (2 Corinthians 10: 3-5) (KJV) Make sure that you, " Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3: 5-6)
Be encouraged my brothers & sisters For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4: 17-18) God has a plan for your life and he wants to display you because you are His gift to the world. So let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Be encouraged for you are more than conquerors!
Father, I lift up my brothers and sisters who are being tested in their faith through the trials they are facing. I know that it is not your will that they faint but it is your desire that they succeed and grow in trust and faith in you. We learn obedience by what we suffer so let your strength be made strong in their weakness. No weapon formed against them will ever prosper and let them be encouraged that you are ordering their steps and that their life is in your hands and nothing or no one can pluck them out. In Jesus name, Amen!
